Itinerates

Upon arrival in Cairo, your Cairo and Nile Cruise Accessible Tour will start. Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, one of our agents will welcome you and transport you to your hotel in Cairo by private, air-conditioned vehicle. You are going to spend the night in Cairo after checking all of your pick-up times and any additional excursions you may have ordered in Egypt during your 8 Days Egypt Accessible Tour Package.

Complimentary Beverage.

After breakfast at your hotel, you will be met by our qualified Egyptologist to start your tour in Cairo. The first visit will be to the famous Pyramids of Giza, which are one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. You will be impressed with the great Pyramid of King Cheops, the largest among them, which was constructed during the 4th dynasty of Egyptian history around 4500 years ago. This monumental achievement of Cheops, son of Snefru, during the old kingdom took nearly 20 years of labor to be rated as the tallest building in the world until the completion of the Lincoln Cathedral in 1311 A.D.

The day will be filled with ancient wonders as you visit the Valley Temple of King Chephren, the Pyramid of Mycerinus, and the iconic Great Sphinx. After visiting the Giza Plateau, you will be transferred to Cairo downtown to start your tour in the Egyptian Museum. You will be impressed by the magnificent legacy of ancient Egyptian arts, with more than 120,000 artifacts on display. You will be guided to witness the magnificent golden collection of King Tutankhamen, then you will be given free time to see the royal mummies room before you finally get to indulge your senses in a scrumptious lunch at a local restaurant. Finally, return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Meals: breakfast, lunch.

Enjoy the hotel's buffet breakfast before deciding on a day at leisure or taking an optional excursion to Alexandria from Cairo. Visiting one of the Mediterranean's legendary cities, founded by Alexander the Great in the 4th century B.C. as the Egyptian capital and to surpass the Greek cities of the time, you'll have the opportunity to view the ruins of this ancient Greco-Roman city.

Included Meal: Breakfast.

Next, after an early-morning breakfast at the daily buffet, you will be met by our representative, who will transfer you to Cairo International Airport for your flight to Aswan. On arrival at the airport in Aswan, another representative will assist you with checking into your cruise ship. Your Aswan excursions take you to the Aswan High Dam, which was an extraordinary feat by the modern-Egyptian president Nasser in the 20th century. Then, visit the Temple of Philae, dedicated to the goddess Isis, and the Unfinished Obelisk in the granite quarries. Later, after the excursions, return to the cruise ship for lunch and dinner and spend the night at Aswan.

Meals: breakfast, lunch, dinner.

Enjoy lunch and dinner on board while we sail leisurely along the Nile. Our first port of call will be the stunning Temple of Edfu, dedicated to the falcon god Horus and by many considered the best-preserved ancient monument in Egypt. We then make a stop at Kom Ombo Temple, shared by two gods: Sobek and Horaeris. Finally, after a whole day of sightseeing, return to the cruise ship to spend some time lunching and dining before you spend the night on board.

As we go, we will take onboard breakfast and then arrive in Luxor, which has also been called the world's biggest open-air museum because of the city of monuments that exist from ancient civilizations. Luxor stands in Upper Egypt and was called Thebes by the ancient Egyptians. It was the capital of Egypt during the Middle Kingdom and New Kingdom. The town of Luxor is located on the eastern bank of the Nile River and is exactly the town as it stands today with Luxor Temple. At the northern end of the city lies the stunning Karnak Temple complex, dated to some 4055 years ago, which houses the famous main hypostyle hall with its 134 colossal columns. Begin a visit to these ruins at the first pylon to undertake a journey back in time. We'll also explore the Temple of Luxor, a major worship center constructed by King Amenhotep III that walks through an avenue lined with sphinxes on both sides. Once our Luxor east bank tours are complete, we return to the cruise ship.

Meals: breakfast, lunch, dinner.

After getting up and having your tasty breakfast, you will be transferred from your Aswan to Luxor Nile cruise and start your Luxor West Bank explorations with a visit to the Valley of the Kings. This new kingdom necropolis is still being excavated and is one of Luxor's most famous sites; many of these tombs have been discovered intact and even untouched. Your Luxor excursions will then take you to the mortuary temple of the divine birth story of semi-god Queen Hatshepsut, which is the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut. On the way back, you can check the remains of the colossal statues of Amenhotep III known as the Colossi of Memnon. After this, you will be transferred to Luxor airport to fly back to Cairo, where you will spend the night in your Cairo hotel.

Meals: Breakfast.

After breakfast at your hotel, one of our representatives will meet and transfer you to Cairo airport to board your international flight after finishing your 8-day Egypt Accessible Tour Package. We trust that we have been beyond your expectations throughout your Cairo and Nile Cruise Accessible Tour.

The essential travel documents usually include a valid passport, visas (if required), airline tickets, hotel reservations, travel insurance, and any necessary identification cards. It's always a good idea to make copies of these documents and store them separately as a backup.

Egypt is famous for its ancient historical sites. Some of the must-visit attractions include the Pyramids of Giza, the Sphinx, Luxor Temple, Karnak Temple, Valley of the Kings, Abu Simbel, and the Egyptian Museum in Cairo.

The best time to visit Egypt is during the cooler months of October to April when temperatures are more comfortable for exploring the historical sites. However, if you're interested in diving in the Red Sea, the summer months offer warm waters and excellent visibility.

When visiting religious sites such as mosques or temples, it's important to dress modestly out of respect. Both men and women should have their shoulders and knees covered. It's also advisable for women to carry a scarf to cover their hair if needed.

The best months to enjoy the Middle East tours are generally April and May, or October and November, however this can vary depending on where you're traveling and what you want to do. Temperatures are normally pleasant rather than extremely hot during certain hours, though crowds may be strong at some attractions.

The most prevalent mode of transportation is by bus. In the absence of this, you'll typically find shared taxis or tourist buses running routes to major sights (such as Petra in Jordan). While flying is the shortest way to travel between Middle Eastern destinations.

If you wish to take a big tour of the Middle East, you should plan at least a 10-day itinerary of Middle East Packages to allow ample time in each country. You may also need to allow extra time to go from one location to another due to security and border crossings between countries.
