After having had a taste of ancient Egypt, head downhill to the beaches of Hurghada for some time on golden sandy beaches and crystal-clear waters. The waters of the Red Sea are at your disposal for swimming, snorkeling, or mere leisurely excursions. An optional Hurghada day tour should also be considered to take in the sights of the area.

Itinerates

Arrive at Cairo International Airport, where our representative will meet and assist you through customs, and then you will claim your baggage. You will is transferred to your selected hotel for a free evening. Overnight at your Hotel.

Enjoy your breakfast & transfer to the airport for the flight Cairo / Hurghada, check-in. Relax & by afternoon time, and you might find it interesting to book a jeep for quad bikes (optional). A leisurely start to the day enables you to stroll down to the beach or lounge by the pool while soaking up your new surroundings. In the afternoon, we then take a transfer to the desert. We swap our jeep for quad bikes as we tear through the sands on this 35km excursion. Overnight at a hotel in Hurghada.

Today, we spend experiencing what the Red Sea has to offer – clear waters and a wealth of coral and colorful fish. While you are guaranteed to see some spectacular marine life, you will only be scratching the surface as the Red Sea itself has more than 1200 recorded species of fish, 10% of which are found nowhere else in the world! Optional “Glass Boat.”

Today is an optional day to either relax by the sea or take a boat trip to the Mahmya beach resort on Giftun Island. If you choose this option, you will leave from the Hurghada Marina to Giftun Island with its fantastic beaches, where there are further snorkeling opportunities.

An Optional trip below the surface to find out what life is like underwater. While you usually need to be a qualified scuba diver to experience this, we do this by climbing aboard the Middle East’s only commercial submarine trip. Picked up from outside the hotel, we motor out like any other boat before suddenly fastening the hatches and descending as deep as 22 meters for a 2-hour excursion. We can right up close to this amazing sea life through portholes and viewing windows while staying bone dry!

Today there is an option for a day trip to Luxor, home of the iconic Valley of the Kings and Queen Hatshepsut's Temple. After an early start, we travel to the West Bank of the Nile. Here we see the Valley of the Kings, which contains the once hidden tombs of over 64 Pharaohs, including Tutankhamun. Queen Hatshepsut's Temple at Deir El Bahri, The half-day finishes with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon for the children; we also include a donkey ride today.

 
 

Straight after lunch, we have the option for a 4X4 Toyota land cruiser jeeps will be waiting outside the hotel, ready to take us out into the Eastern desert of Egypt. Today we head to a Bedouin village where we get to experience what life is like in the desert. From here, we will swap the land cruiser for camels and take a short ride, at the end of which a BBQ will be waiting for us in for a spectacular sunset across the desert.

Transfer to the Hurghada Airport for your flight back to Cairo.

The best time to visit Egypt is during the cooler months of October to April when temperatures are more comfortable for exploring the historical sites. However, if you're interested in diving in the Red Sea, the summer months offer warm waters and excellent visibility.
