Home to one of the world’s first great civilizations, Egypt is brimming with ancient wonders, and today we will discover some of its most impressive. Our first stop will be at the Giza Plateau, where the legendary pyramids and iconic sphinx figure sits. Marvel at the incredible architectural feats that even to this day puzzle archaeologists, and why not opt for a camel ride to make the experience truly unforgettable. Leaving the pyramids behind us, we will travel on to the necropolis of Saqqara, brimming with sand-strewn temples, ancient tombs, and the site of Zoser’s step pyramid. Later this evening, we will make our way to the train station for our overnight journey to Luxor by sleeper train.
Upon arrival in Luxor, we will transfer to the hotel for check-in. Considered to be one of the most important archaeological sites globally, ancient Thebes – known today as Luxor, will be our base for the next two days. Today there is free time to kick back and relax, and later in the evening, there will be an optional excursion to the Temple of Luxor. The temple is already impressive during daylight, and the temple takes on a magically glow after dark as it becomes illuminated by a thousand colored lights. Spend the rest of the evening at your leisure. Overnight: Luxor | Breakfast
Today we will visit Luxor’s famous West Bank of the Nile, home to the famed Valley of the Kings, a vast and ancient necropolis that marks the burial place of pharaohs from the New Kingdom period. The first stop will be at the Colossi of Memnon, a towering pair of statues that are all that remains of the temple of Amenophis III. Touring will continue in the Valley of the Kings and on to the Valley of the Queens, the site of the imposing colonnaded temple of Queen Hatshepsut. Crossing back over to East Bank, we will return to our hotel for some free time before heading to Karnak. More than a temple, Karnak is a spectacular complex of sanctuaries, towers, and obelisks built on a grand scale. During the height of Theban power, Karnak was the most important place of worship. Overnight: Luxor | Breakfast
Departing today Luxor we will head east to Hurghada, part of the beautiful Red Sea Riviera, for four days of beachside bliss! May share transportation to Hurghada with other On the Go tour groups. Overnight: Hurghada | Breakfast

Egypt is famous for its ancient historical sites. Some of the must-visit attractions include the Pyramids of Giza, the Sphinx, Luxor Temple, Karnak Temple, Valley of the Kings, Abu Simbel, and the Egyptian Museum in Cairo.
The best time to visit Egypt is during the cooler months of October to April when temperatures are more comfortable for exploring the historical sites. However, if you're interested in diving in the Red Sea, the summer months offer warm waters and excellent visibility.
When visiting religious sites such as mosques or temples, it's important to dress modestly out of respect. Both men and women should have their shoulders and knees covered. It's also advisable for women to carry a scarf to cover their hair if needed.
The best months to enjoy the Middle East tours are generally April and May, or October and November, however this can vary depending on where you're traveling and what you want to do. Temperatures are normally pleasant rather than extremely hot during certain hours, though crowds may be strong at some attractions.
The most prevalent mode of transportation is by bus. In the absence of this, you'll typically find shared taxis or tourist buses running routes to major sights (such as Petra in Jordan). While flying is the shortest way to travel between Middle Eastern destinations.
If you wish to take a big tour of the Middle East, you should plan at least a 10-day itinerary of Middle East Packages to allow ample time in each country. You may also need to allow extra time to go from one location to another due to security and border crossings between countries.
