Your first stop will be the Saqqara Necropolis, one of the most historically rich archaeological sites in Egypt. Here you’ll visit the Step Pyramid of Djoser, considered the oldest pyramid ever built, as well as the Pyramid of Teti, and a number of beautifully decorated tombs of nobles.

Next, you’ll continue to Memphis, the first capital of ancient Egypt, where you’ll see the colossal statue of Ramses II and visit the remains of the Temple of Hathor, still partly buried under sand.

The journey continues to the legendary Giza Plateau, home to the iconic Great Pyramids of Cheops (Khufu), Chephren (Khafre), and Mykerinus (Menkaure). You’ll also visit the Great Sphinx, with its mysterious lion's body and pharaoh’s face, believed to represent King Khafre, and explore the nearby Valley Temple.

After a full morning and afternoon of sightseeing, you’ll enjoy lunch at a quality local restaurant. Later in the day, you’ll be transferred to your hotel in Cairo to check in and relax. The evening is free at your leisure. Overnight in Cairo.
