Your first stop will be Cairo where you'll have a guided tour of the Pyramids of Giza, the Sphinx, and the Egyptian Museum. After that, travel on a luxurious Nile cruise through the enchanting ancient Egypt, sailing from as far south as Aswan to as far north as Luxor.
On the day trip to Aswan, you will see the beautiful Philae Temple and the huge Aswan High Dam. Next, you will go to Luxor where you will visit the stunning Karnak and Luxor Temples and the mystical Valley of the Kings.
Finish your Egypt Classic Tour with a stay in Hurghada, which is a resort on the Red Sea. Relax on the beach of the golden sand and immerse yourself in the crystal-clear waters of the Red Sea. In Egypt, if you go snorkeling among the colorful coral reefs or just lying down on the beach, you will get a lot of history, comfort, and unforgettable family memories.
Arrival at Cairo Airport. Your Next Holiday tour guide will be there to meet you and assist with airport formalities. You will then be escorted to your hotel for check-in and overnight stay.
Breakfast at the Hotel. Meet your guide at the hotel for departure on a full day’s tour of Cairo. You will visit Memphis and Sakkara, following which we will have lunch at one of Cairo's restaurants. After lunch, visit the Pyramids of Giza and the famous Sphinx.
Back to the Hotel and overnight.
Check out after breakfast and transfer to Cairo Airport to fly to Aswan (flight cost not included). Upon arrival at Aswan Airport, a Next Holiday representative will meet you and escort you to your 3-night Nile cruise.
Embarkation and check-in are before lunch, followed by lunch on board. In the afternoon, you will visit the High Dam and Philae Temple. Afterwards, enjoy a short adventure on the Nile aboard a felucca (small boat), sailing around the islands to see Elephantine Island, the Botanical Garden, and the Aga Khan Mausoleum. Overnight on board in Aswan.
Early in the morning, sail to Kom Ombo. In Kom Ombo, visit the temples of Sobek and Horus. Lunch will be served on board. Relax and admire the beautiful scenery along the Nile while sailing to Edfu. In Edfu, enjoy a horse-drawn carriage tour to visit the Temple of Horus. Return on board and sail to Esna. Overnight on board while passing through the Esna Lock.
Sail to Luxor to begin your Luxor day tours. After breakfast on board, visit the West Bank, including the Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, and the two Colossi of Memnon. Lunch will be served on board. Spend the afternoon at leisure to explore Luxor on your own. Overnight on board in Luxor.
Check out after breakfast on board and transfer to Hurghada on the Red Sea. The drive from Luxor to Hurghada takes approximately three and a half hours.
Optional tours are available to experience exquisite scuba diving in Hurghada among the Red Sea coral reefs and observe some amazing, rare fish. Alternatively, choose from a variety of other activities such as windsurfing, sailing, or deep-sea fishing.
