Upon your arrival in Aswan, our friendly, English-speaking representative will meet and greet you and transfer you by a private A-C van to your fabulous Nile cruise ship. Check-in before noon and have lunch on board. After lunch, we will visit The High Dam, which was constructed by the Egyptian president Gamal Abdel Nasser in 1960 AD. This was constructed to save Egypt from the flood in the Nile. Next, we take a motorboat on the Nile and go to the Temple of Philae, which was dedicated to the goddess Isis and which dates back to the Graeco- Roman period. Finally, we take you to see The Unfinished Obelisk; this obelisk is made of red granite and it was dedicated to the great god Amun Ra. The rest of the evening is then free to spend in Aswan as you wish. Meals included: lunch and dinner.
