16-day Tour to Egypt and Dubai

Overview

Egypt and Dubai—the ancient wonders and modern luxuries combined. One would spend a vacation in Egypt and Dubai for 16 days. The starting point is Cairo, where one visits the pyramids of Giza, the Sphinx, and the Egyptian Museum, then travels to Luxor to see the Valley of the Kings and the Temple of Karnak. From there, it will all be going to Aswan for a leisurely Nile cruise before taking a short detour to Hurghada on the terrific Red Sea for its incredible beaches and sea life. Then, off you go to Dubai, where you will witness all the great modern architecture: Burj Khalifa to Palm Jumeirah; shop in fancy malls; and go on for action-packed desert safaris. Thus, it becomes a lifetime blend between Egypt's ancient heritage and Dubai's up-to-date glories.

Itinerates

Cairo, Egypt, is your destination. At Cairo International Airport, your tour guide will make receiving and welcoming arrangements before transferring you to your room via an air-conditioned vehicle. After a hotel breakfast, you gaze at the Giza pyramids. Undoubtedly, the Pyramid of Cheops (or Khufu) is the most famous Egyptian pyramid on the Giza Plateau. It is the largest of the three pyramids, the last wonder of the ancient world, and the sole survivor of them all in remarkably good condition. Invest time by walking through this place, taking pictures, and gazing inside the inner spiders of the Great Pyramid of Giza. Giza Sphinx-of-these, whose head is a salute to the Ptolemaic dynasty and with whom it bears the body of a lion, are the three pyramids. Then, a short visit to check how papyrus is done, then lunch at a local restaurant. Late afternoon, go straight to the description of the Egyptian Museum in Cairo, which contains the largest collection of Egyptian antiquities on earth. At the end of the day, let your hotel be your sanctuary, where solitude awaits in quietness.

The area you'll visit, the Karnak Temple complex, is now classed as a world heritage site and remains among the most phenomenal and grand in the world. First, then return to the ship for your lunch and some time of relaxing on the middle deck with an aperitive on the upper deck. Egypt is famous for its ancient historical sites. Some of the must-visit attractions include the Pyramids of Giza, the Sphinx, Luxor Temple, Karnak Temple, Valley of the Kings, Abu Simbel, and the Egyptian Museum in Cairo.

The best time to visit Egypt is during the cooler months of October to April when temperatures are more comfortable for exploring the historical sites. However, if you're interested in diving in the Red Sea, the summer months offer warm waters and excellent visibility.

When visiting religious sites such as mosques or temples, it's important to dress modestly out of respect. Both men and women should have their shoulders and knees covered. It's also advisable for women to carry a scarf to cover their hair if needed.

The best months to enjoy the Middle East tours are generally April and May, or October and November, however this can vary depending on where you're traveling and what you want to do. Temperatures are normally pleasant rather than extremely hot during certain hours, though crowds may be strong at some attractions.

The most prevalent mode of transportation is by bus. In the absence of this, you'll typically find shared taxis or tourist buses running routes to major sights (such as Petra in Jordan). While flying is the shortest way to travel between Middle Eastern destinations.

If you wish to take a big tour of the Middle East, you should plan at least a 10-day itinerary of Middle East Packages to allow ample time in each country. You may also need to allow extra time to go from one location to another due to security and border crossings between countries.
