11 Days Exploring the Holy Land – Christian Trip

Begin your day with a breakfast visit to one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, the Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx. Have lunch in a local eatery, perhaps trying some typical Egyptian dishes. After lunch, pay a visit to the Egyptian Museum. During the evening, enjoy a dinner cruise on the Nile with a Belly Dancing show and overnight accommodation.

After hotel checkout, travel via Moses Springs and Marsh, passing through the Suez Canal tunnel under the Red Sea. Continue the journey to St. Catherine and Dahab, where you will enjoy dinner and overnight stay.

After check-out, visit the Burning Bush between 9:00 and 10:00 AM. Depart for the Taba border and complete border formalities for Taba and Israel. From Qumran, continue to Jericho to see Mount of Temptation and the Sycamore Tree. Proceed to Bethlehem for hotel check-in, enjoy dinner, and stay overnight. 

Begin your day in the morning with a climb up the Mount of Olives from where one can enjoy a splendid panoramic view of Jerusalem. Visit the Church of Pater Noster and Dominus Flevit before making an enjoyable walk to the Garden of Gethsemane, where one can see the Church of All Nations, Tomb of Lazarus, and Tomb of the Virgin Mary. Proceed to Qumran where the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered and conclude with a visit to the Dead Sea for a float in its unique saltwater. Return to Bethlehem for dinner and an overnight stay.

Experience a full-day tour to Bethlehem, starting with a visit to the Church of the Nativity, believed to be the traditional birthplace of Jesus. Drive to the Shepherd’s Fields, Manger Square, and the Milk Grotto. A full-day tour of the Old City of Jerusalem, beginning at Pool of Bethesda, referred to as one of the healing stories of Jesus, can be arranged. Visit the Western Wall, the most sacred site of Judaism and then wind through the Via Dolorosa, from the Church of the Flagellation to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. Dinner and overnight in Bethlehem.

After breakfast and check-out from the hotel, proceed towards Ein Karem, taking in the Jordanian view along the way. It was the birthplace of John the Baptist at this location. Upon arrival, visit the Church of the Visitation, where Mary greeted her cousin Elizabeth. Later, continue the Israeli trip with the Church of St. Peter in Gallicantu, the Room of the Last Supper, the Tomb of King David, and the Dormition Abbey that represents the "Assumption" of Mary in art. Afterwards, head to Caesarea, where you will witness Roman wonders such as the theatre, hippodrome, and aqueduct. Stop off at Mount Carmel for pictures of Elijah's Cave and panoramic views overlooking Haifa's Baha'i Gardens. Upon reaching Nazareth, dinner and an overnight stay at Tiberias will be provided.

Following the breakfast coming from the hotel, you can start your day by having a mass along with a renewal of one's marriage vows in Cana. You will be taken to the end of the Mount of Beatitudes at the point where Christ preached the sermon on the Mount. Then drop by at St. Peter’s Primacy Church and Tabgha, the site of the miracle of the multiplication of loaves and fishes, to continue the day with a visit to Capernaum, where Jesus launched His ministry. The tour will take you to enjoy lunch and the sailing on the boat in the Sea of Galilee, followed by a trip to Yardenit, the traditional baptismal site on the Jordan River. Get back to your sleeping one night at the hotel after dinner.

Following breakfast and check-out at the hotel, visit the Church of the Annunciation. Continue to Mount Tabor, the traditional site of the Transfiguration of the Lord. Later, proceed to Sheikh Hussein's border, complete all border formalities, and transfer to your hotel for check-in, dinner, and stay overnight. 

Begin the day with breakfast in the hotel and proceed to Madaba for a visit to St. George's Monastery, with an extremely significant mosaic map of Egypt, Jordan, and the Holy Land, famously known as the first map of the region, dating back to the 6th century AD. Continue to the wonderful Petra, famously known as "Rose City." This 2,000-year-old Nabatean capital, one of the most unmistakable wonders of the world and which will draw you in with its beauty. Instead of walking, enjoy a horseback ride through the quaint Siq, leading you to the Treasury, an exquisite rose-red structure carved into pink sandstone. Return to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

After breakfast at the hotel, visit Mount Nebo for a breathtaking view of the Dead Sea-Israel, enjoying the traditional gravesite of Moses, which is perhaps one of Jordan's most honored holy shrines. Later, you will transfer to the airport for your onward flight.
