Overview

The 8-day journey through Egypt, which features ancient Egyptian landscapes as its backdrop, provides a complete Egypt accessible tour through its specially designed Egyptian tour, which combines cultural experiences with comfortable travel and different accessibility options. The experience has been constructed to enable wheelchair users to discover all the Egyptian attractions that they want to see.

The Cairo travel package starts your journey through Egypt, which includes a visit to the Pyramids of Giza, the Egyptian Museum, and the historic sites of Islamic Cairo, and gives you the option to travel to Alexandria.

The journey continues south to Luxor, where you will explore Luxor through guided Luxor day tours, which will take you to Karnak Temple, Luxor Temple, and the Valley of the Queens.

You can relax during the Nile cruise, which takes you to Aswan while you enjoy the beautiful river views. The Temple of Philae and the Unfinished Obelisk serve as your two main attractions to visit in Aswan. The Egypt travel package has been designed to give all travelers an experience that combines comfortable access and peacefulness with unforgettable moments.

Itinerates

Upon arrival in Cairo, you will commence with your accessible Cairo & Nile Cruise vacation. Upon pick up from the Cairo International Airport, our friendly representative will be there to greet you and at the same time take you to your hotel in a private, air-conditioned motor coach. The rest of the day will be spent in Cairo.

A welcome drink is included.

Begin with breakfast at the hotel and attend a meeting with our expert Egyptologist, who will provide you with valuable information for exploring Cairo. Your first stop will be the world-renowned Pyramids of Giza, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. The Great Pyramid of Khufu, standing tall as the largest of the trio, was built around 4,500 years ago during the 4th Dynasty. The construction of this monumental edifice under the reign of Khufu, the son of Snefru, spanned almost twenty years, keeping its status as the tallest man-made structure on Earth until the completion of Lincoln Cathedral in A. D. 1311.

Continue on your journey across the Giza plateau to visit the Valley Temple of Khafre, followed by a trip to the Pyramid of Menkaure and the Great Sphinx, a little further off. Then travel downtown to Cairo and be introduced to the Egyptian Museum, with its astonishing collection of over 120,000 artifacts. View the kingship of Tutankhamun and have some time of your own for exploring the royal mummies exhibition. Finish the day with a flavorful lunch at a local restaurant. Check back into your hotel for an overnight stay.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch.

Start your day with the hotel's buffet breakfast before you decide between spending your day at leisure or participating in the optional Alexandria excursion, which departs from Cairo. The historic Mediterranean city, which Alexander the Great established in the 4th century B.C., was to function as Egypt's capital and compete with Greece's greatest cities. The tour allows you to see the preserved remains of this exceptional Greco-Roman archaeological site.

Included Meal: Breakfast.

After having breakfast at the hotel buffet, our representative will later meet you and bring her/him to the Cairo International Airport for your flight to Aswan. On arrival, you will be helped by the local guide to join your cruise ship. Orientation tour of Aswan includes the famous Aswan High Dam, another major achievement of present-day construction by former President Nasser. This will be followed by a visit to the Temple of Philae, dedicated to Isis, and a visit to the granite quarries and the Unfinished Obelisk. After that, return to the cruise ship for lunch and dinner until the sun sets in Aswan for the night.

Overnight in Aswan.

Meals: breakfast, lunch, dinner.

Enjoying lunch as you cruise along the Nile sounds well organized, with dinners on board being yet another pleasure. The first sunset-approaching site on our agenda is the Hellenistic Temple of Edfu, dedicated to Horus the falcon god, which is often written in descriptions as one of Egypt's finest ancient sites. Afterward, make a stop at the Kom Ombo Temple, a rare sanctuary showing respect to both Sobek, the god of crocodiles, and Horus. For a full day entirely dedicated to the oldest, leave to the cruise ship for a complete meal, a good bed, and sleep.

The first meal of the day started at an onboard restaurant, which operates in Luxor, which the world recognizes as the largest open-air museum. The city, which existed in Upper Egypt during ancient times, operated under the name Thebes, which served as the capital during both the Middle and New Kingdoms. The new site will create a connection between the ancient ruins and the Luxor Temple. From a distance, observers can see the Karnak Temple complex, which dates back over 4000 years, and its Great Hypostyle Hall, which contains 134 large columns. The ancient ruins begin their story from the first pylon, which leads to their historical past. The main street leads to the temple of Luxor, a construction notably attributed to King Amenhotep III, around which sphinxes took their eternal slumber. The East Bank is where we head to for the next destination by boat.

The meal plan serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

After getting up and having your tasty breakfast, you will be transferred from your Aswan to Luxor Nile cruise and start your Luxor West Bank explorations with a visit to the Valley of the Kings. This new kingdom necropolis is still being excavated and is one of Luxor's most famous sites; many of these tombs have been discovered intact and even untouched. Your Luxor excursions will then take you to the mortuary temple of the divine birth story of semi-god Queen Hatshepsut, which is the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut. On the way back, you can check the remains of the colossal statues of Amenhotep III known as the Colossi of Memnon. After this, you will be transferred to Luxor airport to fly back to Cairo, where you will spend the night in your Cairo hotel.

Meals: Breakfast.

After breakfast at your hotel, one of our representatives will meet and transfer you to Cairo airport to board your international flight after finishing your 8-day Egypt Accessible Tour Package. We trust that we have been beyond your expectations throughout your Cairo and Nile Cruise Accessible Tour.

Meals: Breakfast.
