Coptic Cairo
Your journey continues in the historic heart of Coptic Cairo, where ancient landmarks await. Visit the Roman-era Babylon Fortress and the Hanging Church, perched above the ancient walls. You’ll also see the Church of St. Sergius, where the Holy Family is believed to have stayed, along with the spring they used for water. Don’t miss the Ben Ezra Synagogue, located at the spot where the baby Moses is said to have been discovered in the Nile.

Islamic Cairo
Venture through the medieval streets of Islamic Cairo, with its vibrant bazaars, narrow alleys, and centuries-old buildings. Your tour culminates with a relaxing tea at Fishawy Café in Khan El Khalili, Cairo’s most famous market, where you can soak in the atmosphere of this historic district.

At the end of your day of discovery, return to your hotel for a restful night in Cairo.

Once you are done with breakfast at your hotel, you will meet your private tour guide and embark on the Trip to Alexandria, which is frequently referred to as the “jewel of the Mediterranean” and Egypt’s second-largest city. Alexandria founded by Alexander the Great in 332 B.C. is a place that has heritage and beauty in plenty. Your Egyptologist guide will take you to Alexandria in very comfortable and modern air-conditioned vehicle. The drive will be for about two hours and there is a planned break on the way for you to take a rest, have a drink or walk a bit before proceeding.

Pompey’s Pillar: Your tour starts at Pompey’s Pillar, an impressive granite column that is the last remaining structure from the ancient Serapeum, once a grand Roman temple.

Citadel of Qaitbay :Your next visit is the Qaitbay Citadel, an iconic fortress constructed by the Mamluks to defend the Mediterranean coast from foreign invasion. It stands proudly on the historic site where the legendary Lighthouse of Alexandria one of the ancient world’s Seven Wonders once towered before it disappeared.

Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa: Continue to the Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa, the largest Roman burial complex in Egypt. Descend into its fascinating multi-level tombs decorated with remarkable carvings, blending Egyptian and Greco-Roman art, originally created for a wealthy family.

Bibliotheca Alexandrina :Your journey proceeds to the modern Bibliotheca Alexandrina, a magnificent cultural landmark inspired by the ancient library that served as a major hub for knowledge and scholarship. Today, the new library stands as a stunning architectural marvel overlooking the sea.

St. Mark’s Church & Historic Downtown : Begin your trip with an inspection of Saint Mark's Church, which is one of the oldest Christian churches in Egypt, and then amble around the old downtown area of Alexandria, which is a lively district crowded with markets that sell Egyptian sweets, fish, and cakes. Some lovely buildings display the baroque, Italian, and French influences in their design.

Pass by Mansheya market, a lively market including the extremely famous ladies' market (zan'et el-setat) full of narrow alleyways, shops, and the glittering gold market specializing in real bridal and engagement rings.

Abo Elabbas Mosque : Proceed rather eastward to admire Abo Elabbas Mosque, which is recognized as one of Alexandria's best mosques close to that old setting is a small amusement park with ancient rides. 

Take a walk through the elegant corniche and port area for better photography opportunities of native fishing boats and fishermen. Savor a delicious seafood lunch at a reputable local restaurant before beginning your return trip to Cairo. A brief stop will be made on the way back for your comfort.
