Egyptian New Year 2026: Cairo, Aswan, Luxor & Red Sea

Start your day with breakfast before going to the amazing Egyptian Museum, which is an excellent way to start your morning. The museum is considered one of the richest in the world and is home to a vast collection from ancient Egypt's Pharaonic age. One of the most prominent exhibits is the incredible gold and other valuables found in the tomb of Tutankhamun, the boy king who lived in the 14th century B.C.

Then, travel your way forward to Old Cairo where you will visit some of the most historic and holy places of the city. Visit the Hanging Church, the Church of St. Sergius and Bacchus, and the Ben Ezra Synagogue all different, but at the same time, demonstrating the great and varied religious heritage of Egypt.Come back to your hotel in Cairo for a relaxing overnight stay.

After breakfast, you will be taken to Cairo airport for your flight to Aswan. Upon your arrival, you will be greeted by your guide and then continue to board your Nile Cruise. On Day 7, you will visit the main attractions of Aswan starting with the amazing Aswan High Dam, a contemporary engineering marvel, and the gigantic Unfinished Obelisk made from solid pink granite.
 

Enjoy a wonderful breakfast on board your cruise on the Nile before starting a whole day of activities and sightseeing in Egypt on your Christmas holiday. Witness the unique phenomenon of the double Temple of Kom Ombo and majestic Edfu Temple, sitting under the protection of Horus, the god with a falcon head.

Breakfast will be served on board your Nile cruise before a day dedicated to the exploration of Luxor's legendary sites. Discover kings and queens at the Valley of the Kings and Vally of the Queens ; the majestic Temple of Hatshepsut; and Colossi of Memnon. During the afternoon, set out across the river on the East Bank side to Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple, where you can engrave your memory of a Christmas holiday in Egypt.

Enjoy your breakfast in Luxor before leaving the cruise and proceeding to Hurghada in a luxury air-conditioned vehicle. Check in at the hotel and enjoy a peaceful evening by the Red Sea.

Begin your day with breakfast, after which you can go to discover the amazing coast of Hurghada. Sunbathe on the beach, swim in the sea, or choose from many water sports that are fun for all and that you can do if you are not just a spectator.

Optional: Treat yourself to a fantastic Red Sea day filled with thrilling water activities. You can snorkel or dive among the colorful coral reefs, and if you are lucky, you might even see some rare fish. Stay overnight in Hurghada.

Spend the day in Hurghada relaxing on the sunny beaches and exploring the colorful coral reefs. You can also take some time to discover the city if you wish.

After having your breakfast, go to Hurghada Airport and take a flight to Cairo. Upon arrival, you will be met by your guide who will take you to your hotel for check-in.
