Once you arrive in Aswan you will be warmly met by our English speaking representative and transferred by a private air-conditioned car to your luxury cruise ship on the Nile. After checking in which is done before noon you will have lunch served on board.
After the delicious lunch, your guided tour of Aswan sights begins; you will visit the High Dam, it is an engineering feat that was built in 1960 under president Gamal Abdel Nasser in order to tame the flood of the Nile River and to provide electrical power to Egypt.
Next you will take an enchanting trip by a motor boat across the Nile to reach the Temple of Philae which was devoted to goddess Isis, this amazing temple is from the Graeco-Roman era, and stands on Agilkia Island.
Your last visit is to the Unfinished Obelisk, it is an enormous red granite monolith that was most likely commissioned for the great god Amun-Ra and reflects the stone quarrying techniques of ancient Egypt.

Following breakfast on board you will disembark with your Egyptologist for the amazing Temples of Kom Ombo, one of the only dual temples that are dedicated to Sobek and Haroeris. This is one of the most unusual sites on the Nile and will shed much light on Egyptian worship and life.
You will then return to your boat and will be served lunch with views of the vast Nile from the sun deck.
In the afternoon you will continue your adventure and travel by horse and carriage to the beautifully preserved Temple of Horus in Edfu.
After your tour you will be transferred back to your boat to enjoy leisure time and refreshments before an evening of activities and dining. Dinner will be served on board followed by an Egyptian folkloric show.
