Once you have arrived at the airport in Aswan, you will be met by a representative from Next Holiday Travel and transferred by private air-conditioned vehicle to embark on board MS. Le Fayan Nile Cruise prior to 12pm.
After check-in and lunch aboard, begin your informative Aswan tour. Begin by taking in the magnificent Aswan High Dam. It was built under President Gamal Abdel Nasser in 1960 in order to help control the annual flooding of the Nile and the generation of hydroelectric power. Following this you will travel by motorboat across the Nile to visit the delightful Philae Temple – a magical Greco-Roman structure to the goddess Isis and the one most stunning sites in Egypt.
Then visit the phenomenal Unfinished Obelisk a remarkable red granite carving dedicated to Amun-Ra. The tour concludes with your return to the cruise ship for the rest of the afternoon and evening. You may spend your evening at leisure or by exploring the surrounding Aswan.

Today's excursion is a visit to the Temple of Kom Ombo, an unusual double temple dedicated to the crocodile god Sobek and the falcon-headed god Haroeris (Horus the Elder). The temple complex has been wonderfully preserved and gives an exceptional glimpse into ancient Egyptian religious practice and architecture.
From here, you will return to the cruise ship and have lunch on board as the majestic Nile drifts past the sun deck and the stunning desert landscape of Egypt flows by.
This afternoon we will visit the Temple of Horus at Edfu by horse-drawn carriage; it is one of the best preserved ancient temples in Egypt and is dedicated to the falcon god Horus, it boasts the tallest columns and a magnificent entrance to the temple structure, as well as beautifully detailed carvings.
We will return to the cruise ship and you will have some free time. Dinner will be served on board and afterwards we will witness an Egyptian folkloric show performed by the staff on board the cruise ship.
