Explore Ancient Egyptian Temples: Edfu and Kom Ombo

Your day starts with an early morning hot air balloon flight which takes you above Luxor and provides you with an exceptional sunrise experience. The launch site on the West Bank of the Nile will be reached through hotel or cruise ship pickup service which will take you there. Your pre-flight refreshments will be served at the time when you meet the pilot and ground crew members.

After the safety briefing you and your pilot and other passengers will enter the balloon basket. The balloon ascent provides you with 30 to 45 minutes of stunning aerial views which show the sky transforming into vibrant colors. The sunlit East Bank of the Nile provides a view which shows Luxor's famous landmarks. You will take beautiful photographs of the Karnak Temple pillars and Temple of Queen Hatshepsut which shines in morning light and Colossi of Memnon and Valley of the Queens which lies among surrounding mountains.

Flight operations will continue above the Ramesseum if conditions permit because the area includes views of Pharaoh Ramses II's mortuary temple which features its massive pylons and statues and courtyards.

Your balloon will receive ground support from an accompanying team who will assist you during your landing process. After you land your flight certificate and special souvenir will be given to you. The breakfast and morning activities will begin after we transport you back to your hotel or cruise ship.
