The Egyptian Museum – Home to countless artifacts that show the entire development of ancient Egyptian civilization. The museum first opened its doors in 1835 when it established its base close to Ezbekieh Garden but later Muhammad Ali transferred the museum to Cairo Citadel for better protection of Egyptian heritage.

After lunch at a local restaurant in Cairo you will proceed to your next location:

Mohamed Ali Mosque:

This large mosque was constructed according to Ottoman architectural traditions which include its main dome that is surrounded by eight smaller domes. The mosque occupies a square area of 41x41 meters which features a central dome that measures 21 meters and reaches a total height of 52 meters. The western side of the building has two balconies with conical caps that rise to 82 meters which create an impressive skyline.

Al-Muizz Street:

This street serves as the main artery of historic Cairo which connects the city from its Fatimid beginnings to its Ottoman time period across a distance of 1,200 meters that stretches from Bab al-Futuh through Al-Nahhas to Khan El-Khalili and Al-Sagha areas. The place functions as an active archaeological site, which also serves as a center for cultural activities and commercial enterprise that brings together historical elements and contemporary urban life.

Khan El-Khalili Bazaar:

This market stands as one of the oldest and most famous marketplaces in Cairo which functions as a central point for traditional crafts and local souvenirs and cultural items. Explore the busy streets to experience the vibrant atmosphere while you discover special items to take home.

At the end of the day you will be taken to Cairo Airport where you will board your flight to Hurghada and then check into your hotel for the night.
