Discover St. Catherine & Colored Canyon on a Full-Day Sharm Adventure

Our representative will arrive at your hotel to pick you up for our first excursion to the main Sinai desert attractions through our advanced jeep. We will proceed to Saint Catherine Monastery, which sits at a height of 1570 meters in the central Sinai Peninsula, as the site where Moses first witnessed the burning bush. The monastery exists at the base of Jebel Musa, which is known as Mount Sinai because Moses received the Ten Commandments through the law tablets at this location. The monastery has existed since the 6th century, when Emperor Justinian ruled, and the enclosing wall still exists. The early 11th century established the name Saint Catherine at this location to honor Saint Catherine, who existed as one of the earliest Christian martyrs from Alexandria.

We will return to St. Catherine road through St. Catherine until we reach the point which begins the hiking trail for Sinai's geological wonder, which is the canyon.
