Overall, an enjoyable experience. But the inhabitants were kind, and we had a lovely time visiting this small hamlet with our guide on the Nubian Village tour. This was one of our favorite days in Egypt, full of joy and memories. It comes highly recommended.
The Nubian village is inhabited by the indigenous Nubian population, who are famous for their rituals, traditions, beliefs, architecture, history, and even their lifestyle and the areas in which they reside, which is a combination of the wonderful colorful environment and unique clothing which make the Nubian Village one of the best things to do in Aswan.
Make sure the boat captain agrees to transport you to the Nubian Village downstream from Aswan during Egypt Nile Cruise Tours. They may try to lead you to another, nearby Nubian Village upstream. Agree on how long they will wait for you as you visit the Nubian Village. Typically, they will wait for you for 2-3 hours, but you may bargain for longer.
