Transfer from Aswan to Luxor in a private modern vehicle with your guide, on arrival to Luxor, observe the most interesting places of the city: the eastern bank of the Nile, where the Karnak Temple Complex is located. Such a vast area includes an astonishing number of ruined temples, chapels, pylons, and other structures, construction in this complex started during the Middle Kingdom, during the reign of Senusret I, and continued into the Ptolemaic period. It is known as an enormous open-air museum and is the second-largest ancient religious site in the world, its main purpose being the cult of the Theban triad: the gods Amon, his consort Mut, and their son Khunso.

After your visit, take some time for lunch. You will then continue your tour on the west bank of the Nile to the Valley of the Kings, where you can see the well-preserved tombs of New Kingdom rulers, including the famous Ramses II and young King Tutankhamun. If you wish, you can pay a supplement directly to enter King Tutankhamun's tomb.

Next will be the Mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, also called the "Holy of Holies". A huge structure that consists of three levels connected with ramps and collar on the walls, representing the divine birth of the Queen and her commercial expedition to Punt. It is mainly a temple for adoring the great god Amon-Ra, you will then be allowed to take photos in front of the Colossi of Memnon: two gigantic statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III that guard what was once his now-ruined funerary temple. Hear tales and legends about the statues, and check out the Roman graffiti on the stone. If time allows, you may wish to stop by an alabaster factory to buy souvenirs; you'll be able to purchase pieces cut by hand.

You will be transferred back to your hotel in Aswan or your hotel in Luxor, or to Luxor airport if any for your departure, around 05:00 PM.
