Your arrival is at Istanbul Atatürk Airport in the morning, where a guide from Next Holiday will be waiting to transfer you to the hotel for breakfast. After breakfast, the exploration of the most important city will begin with the Ancient Hippodrome. The Ancient Hippodrome used to be the largest chariot-racing course in the Byzantine Empire. The Blue Mosque stands close to the Hippodrome. It was completed by 1616 and is admired for its harmony, proportion, and elegance. From outside, enjoy a panoramic view of St Sophia (Hagia Sophia), the Church of Divine Wisdom, and a remarkable testament to the sophistication of the 6th century. Lunch will be served during the tour. Afterwards, visit the magnificent Topkapi Palace, the winter residence of the Ottoman Sultans for almost 300 years, located on a promontory between the Bosphorus and the Golden Horn.
