A 7-day Christian Holy Land tour is an opportunity to relive the whole of the Bible through a magnificent and spiritual journey to some of Christianity's holiest sites in Israel and even in Palestine. Walk along the holy places in Jerusalem, the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, and the Via Dolorosa, Bethany, the very place where King Jesus was born, Nazareth, and the Sea of Galilee, where the Bible narrates many events of Jesus. This pilgrimage is a great way to see the whole story of the Christian faith with all its different aspects: history, spirituality, and nature; in a way that is very close to the heart of the Christian faith.
Upon arrival at the airport, you will be met and assisted by your Next Holiday tour guide through all formalities, then transferred to Nazareth for hotel check-in.
Following breakfast, a city tour of Nazareth, the place where Jesus spent his childhood and the residence of Mary and Joseph, is a nice way to start the day. Tour the Basilica of the Annunciation and St Joseph’s Workshop. Afterward, drive to Cana and stop at Capernaum, the Church of the Beatitudes, and Tabgha, where the miracle of feeding the 5000 took place. Take a trip on a copy of an ancient Galilean fishing boat, then move through the lovely Galilean nature with a halt at the site of St Peter’s House and the church of the Primacy of St Peter. Later on, go to the Jordan River where Jesus got his first baptism. Return to Nazareth for the dinner and overnight stay.
After having your breakfast, you will check out of the hotel and then move on to the south via the coastal road to Haifa. On the way, you will stop at the Mount Carmel Church, which is exclusively sacred for over three religions: Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. After that, you will proceed to St Peter's Church and the Church of the Dormition. Finally, you will visit Jaffa to see the old port, the artists' quarter, the Mahmudiyah Mosque, Simon the Tanner's House, and the Franciscan Church. Next, a trip to Ein Karem is planned, a serene village placed on a slope and close to a stream, which is historically recognized as the City of Judah and the birthplace of John the Baptist. The local church will be visited prior to traveling to Bethlehem. You will reach your hotel accommodation in Bethlehem in time for dinner and an overnight stay.
After breakfast, drive to Jericho, where you will stop for a brief view of Qarantal, the traditional Mount of Temptation, and the Sycamore Tree. Continue to the Dead Sea for swimming, passing Qumran and viewing the caves from the road where the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered.
Afterwards, continue to Jerusalem, then return for an overnight stay in Bethlehem.
After breakfast, continue to the Via Dolorosa, following the 14 Stations of the Cross to Golgotha, then visit the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, the Cenacle (Last Supper Room), and the Tomb of King David. Continue to the Wailing Wall, then return for dinner and overnight in Bethlehem.
